About the Conference

The International Conference on Applied Photonics, Advanced Materials and Translational Technologies (ICAPAMTT 2027) will be held during 4–6 February 2027 at Jagannath Barooah University, Jorhat, Assam, India.

ICAPAMTT 2027 aims to provide an interdisciplinary platform bringing together researchers, academicians, technologists and industry professionals working at the interface of applied photonics, advanced materials and emerging technologies, with particular emphasis on translating scientific advances into practical technologies and applications.

The conference will cover four broad areas: Applied Photonics; Advanced Materials; Translational Technologies; and Emerging & Strategic Technologies. Topics will include lasers and ultrafast photonics, nonlinear optics, nanophotonics and plasmonics, biophotonics, optical sensing and imaging, semiconductor, microwave, photonic and optoelectronic materials, bio-inspired, functional and 2D materials, energy and sustainable materials, advanced composites, advanced optical instrumentation, biomedical and environmental technologies, renewable energy, AI-assisted materials research, smart sensing, quantum technologies, remote sensing, space photonics, electromagnetic and microwave technologies, intelligent imaging and autonomous systems.

A distinctive feature of ICAPAMTT 2027 will be its emphasis on research-to-technology translation, encouraging interaction among academia, national research laboratories, industry and technology-development organizations. The conference will also provide a platform for strengthening research collaboration and scientific networking, with particular attention to research and technological capacity building in North-East India and greater participation of researchers from the region.

The programme will include Distinguished Addresses, Plenary and Keynote Lectures, Invited and Young Invited Talks, contributed oral presentations, poster sessions, and industry/technology sessions. Selected research contributions may also be considered for publication as edited book proceedings with reputed international publishers, subject to peer review and publisher requirements.

Through this interdisciplinary and translational focus, ICAPAMTT 2027 seeks to contribute to the advancement of photonics, advanced materials, energy and environmental technologies, intelligent sensing, strategic technologies and emerging applications, while fostering meaningful national and international research collaborations.

Registration

Participants interested in attending the International Conference on Applied Photonics, Advanced Materials and Translational Technologies (ICAPAMTT 2027) are requested to complete the registration process through the online registration form.

Authors whose abstracts have been accepted are required to complete their registration by 15 January 2027 to confirm their participation and inclusion in the conference programme. Other interested participants are also welcome to register for the conference, subject to the availability of seats.

Registration Fees

The registration fee entitles participants to a conference kit, access to all technical sessions, refreshments, and the conference dinner.
